Soon I’ll be done with the school year! I’ve never had to study so much in my life. I’m ready to be done all together.


feeling good after a hard workout so I treated myself to one of these smoothies! I’d already made one and thought it would be a cool refresher :)

I haven’t had anything fried in a while since it’s a type of food I avoid. Boy would I love to have this.
Favorite pick-me-up.
It’s been pretty consistent until recently I’ve decreased my time by exactly a minute, so now it’s an average of 18 minutes per mi versus 19. This happened in a course of a month. I guess that’s ok but I really wanna get that time down. I think NTC will help with my overall endurance so hopefully my time will keep decreasing.
Just got the Nike Training Club (NTC) app I really do like it. I feel like I’m on the biggest loser without the screaming lol. The workout drills are great and really help my habit of stopping because I get so bored. I can change up the routines as much as I like! I recommend this to those who get bored with monotonous routines, or those that workout at home and want a challenge. Oh I kinda forgot to mention how intense it was. For me personally, it was extremely intense I sweated so much but got a burn so I think I’ll be continuing this!
This is seriously all I eat for lunch or dinner because it’s so quick!
Ehh…better than usual, which was a total surprise after my 10-day non workout slump. I finished my mile under 20 min. (I shot this after I hit the mile mark) I’m determined to do 2 miles this week because I’m serious about becoming a runner.
Best dinner: spinach and romaine with pan-seared chicken cooked in sun dried tomato vinaigrette also with a bit of Mexican 4 cheese.
I’ve been avoiding the scale for the past two days. Exam week took a tole of my schedule and I’m afraid my weight suffered from it. I’ll give myself a week to reverse any damage I might’ve done and I guess I’ll see the results on next Friday
That I was, but I’m back and I’m feeling good. I had to give the computer a break because of all my exams and stuff. But I’m definitely back on track!
So I got a visit from mother nature and the cramps are terrible, but I decided I was not going to let that stop me from working out today. I decided to start off with the mile instead of the 30 day shred first. When I started up the treadmill the power went out -______- So now I’m waiting for it to come back on and who knows when that will be. Tomorrow, I promise myself that if the power does not come back on before 11:00 I’m going to run 2 miles to make up for it. However, in the meantime I’m going to do strength training from the 30 day shred dvd.
Well Day 4 of the 30 day shred was decent. I really need to get my endurance up for the cardio. I’m not at the level I want to be in that area. I have to pause it to get some water. All the jumping is a little too much, but I’m working on it! After I did the 30ds I did a mile on the treadmill. I came in under 25 min, but I didn’t beat my time last night. I finished exactly at 20 min- 12 seconds more :(. I think it may have been my energy level, but no excuses. I gotta push through it! Hopefully I will be able to move to 1.5 mi. soon.
